Reduce Washington Staff

Should Obama do as Wall Street and require our Congress and Senate to reduce themselves and staff? Big business cuts all the time, why not our Sentors and Congressmen. It is estimated that a savings of 8 Billion dollars could come if we cut the number of congress and senate by half. Shouldn't they be held to the same standard as the rest of the country?
